Persol Atelier - Backstage documentation
È il nuovo progetto ideato da Persol, marchio italiano di occhiali da sole e da vista e si chiama Atelier Persol. In occasione della sua seconda edizione, l’atelier ospita per una settimana sette artisti all’interno di un palazzo del sedicesimo secolo nell‘isola della Giudecca a Venezia. Ogni artista è stato chiamato a creare un’opera d’arte inedita ispirandosi al mito della Fenice e mettendo in campo i concetti della terra, del fuoco e della rinascita. La creatura mitologica e leggendaria è omaggiata da Persol con la freccia Phoenix, tra gli artisti insieme a Nan Goldin anche: Abel Ferrara, Soundwalk, Akram Khan, Loris Greaud, Giovanni Ozzola e Theo Mercier.
It is the new project conceived by Persol, the Italian brand of sunglasses and optical glasses, called Atelier Persol. On the occasion of its second edition, the atelier hosts seven artists for a week inside a 16th-century palace on the island of Giudecca in Venice. Each artist has been invited to create an original work of art inspired by the myth of the Phoenix, incorporating the concepts of earth, fire, and rebirth. The mythical and legendary creature is honored by Persol with the Phoenix arrow, alongside artists such as Nan Goldin: Abel Ferrara, Soundwalk, Akram Khan, Loris Greaud, Giovanni Ozzola, and Theo Mercier.
